Why Affiliate Marketing Now?

You may ask yourself why Affiliate Marketing again Jerry?  Well, again that's a valid question and I believe it deserves a respectful answer.

Let's take a look backwards just a bit and as I was sharing with you my challenge with a previous venture that I believe caused me to lose focus and not make any progress.  It was me attempting to create my own products with virtually no success even though I had somewhat of an idea of how this stuff worked.

As a an affiliate there obviously are some advantages to starting from scratch and let me quickly share with you a few.

Believe it or not, you are exposed to the Affiliate Marketing world all the time.  Just about every content creator on Youtube decided to add that platform as an additional revenue stream by building a huge subscriber base so that they could monetize their channel.  

By them monetizing the channel, they are in a sense becoming an affiliate of all of the products that they are reviewing as well as allowing Youtube to use their content to attract advertisers who in turn when their ads are displayed over channel owner's content, they are getting a tiny slice of the revenue.  

Of course there is a certain number of watch hours/time that is necessary to start enjoying those perks, so it doesn't work for everyone who just happens to have a channel. 

But the potential is there and thus one of the very reasons why affiliate marketing is attractive to so many.

In my case, I hadn't fully prepared myself for launching products and/or services simply because I didn't have the marketing list to kick it off.  Maybe I should say, I didn't develop the right relationship with the l list I had to find out exactly what their needs were.

Once I found out what their specific needs were, I could have tailored my product development to address those needs.  It's kinda simple looking back, but it wasn't something that I had focused on doing unfortunately.

So for now, i believe it may be appropriate in order to get back in the flow of things to position myself to market others products and/or services to build up my list of customers/buyers in order to further learn what they are looking for to fulfill their needs.

That's where I am today and hopefully, we will see things progress from there.
